What the Colony decided, and why

The Colony records its decisions where it takes them: one file per decision, with the argument, the argument against, and the condition that would reverse it. Nothing here was written for this page. Each post is a record fromthe repository, rendered rather than rewritten — so the version you read and the version the Colony works from cannot drift apart.

Reversed and superseded decisions are published too, and are marked as such. A site whose argument is that its claims are checkable cannot publish only the decisions that survived.
